「Air Force General」 once again saw the largest single liquidation in the entire network with a BTC long position, after being liquidated in a series of 400 million short positions within a week and then switching to a long position.

BlockBeats News, January 29th, according to Coinbob Popular Address Monitor and Coinglass monitoring, BTC ranked first in the network-wide liquidation in the past 24 hours. The single largest liquidation amount reached $12.47 million, conducted by the whale known as the "Air Force Commander" (0xd83...) on the Hyperliquid platform.

It is reported that due to the short-term surge in BTC starting at 2:00 a.m. today, surpassing $90,000, the address significantly increased its 40x leveraged BTC long position, pushing the position size to $63.2 million, with the liquidation price and average price rising simultaneously.

Subsequently, the BTC price continued to fall, with the current price down by 2.1% from the daily high. At 5:02 a.m., the address suffered a heavy blow, with 140 BTC longs liquidated (approximately $12.47 million). In the following hours, it was hit by another 112.2 BTC long liquidations (approximately $9.9 million), with a total liquidation amount of $22.37 million. Currently, the account balance of this address is less than $1 million.

Currently, it still holds a 40x leveraged BTC long position, with a position size of $39.81 million, an average price of $89,530, a liquidation price of $88,390, and an unrealized loss of $380,000 (-39%).

This whale was previously the largest short seller of BTC, ETH, and other cryptocurrencies, with a total position of nearly $500 million. In recent times, it has suffered consecutive liquidations, including around $199 million on January 22nd, around $120 million on January 26th, and around $83 million on January 28th. Subsequently, it switched its position to long, only to face another long liquidation today.
