Emulating WhiteWhale? James Wynn Calls for Pump and Dump of WYNN Token
BlockBeats News, January 12th, according to GMGN monitoring data, in recent days, James Wynn publicly promoted his eponymous Meme token WYNN, which currently has a market value of about $2.77 million, a price of $0.0027, and a historical peak market value of $7.33 million. James Wynn's move appears to mimic the Meme coin WhiteWhale, the namesake meme of Hyperliquid's legendary trader The WhiteWhale, which has been rising steadily since the owner announced taking over the project on December 20 last year.
On January 3rd, James Wynn publicly criticized the Meme coin WhiteWhale, stating, "The key figure of WhiteWhale was liquidated on Hyperliquid for a loss of over $80 million, but is now launching a Meme coin in a 'non-profit' and 'savior' manner, which is truly absurd." He then continued to make price pump calls, claiming that his own flagship Meme coin WYNN is still at a low market value and pledged to use 100% of the creator's earnings for token buybacks.
