Ethena proposes to reduce the Risk Committee membership from 5 to 3 members
BlockBeats News, January 27th, Ethena Labs Research proposed that before the election next week, ENA token holders should vote to reduce the Risk Committee's size from 5 voting members to 3. Ethena Labs Research believes that reducing the members is beneficial for clarifying responsibilities, covering specific areas such as DeFi lending exposure, reserve funds and redemption requirements, protocol partner integration, and collateral assets.
Furthermore, the reduction in members will allow the Ethena Foundation to increase member compensation, encouraging them to dedicate more resources. If the proposal is approved, ENA and sENA holders will elect 3 voting members, with Ethena Labs Research serving as a non-voting advisor; if not approved, the original plan of electing 5 members will proceed.
