The self-proclaimed "Ultimate Bear" who was previously focused on shorting BTC has opened a new LIT short position, betting against Lighter (LIT) at an average price of $2.95
BlockBeats News, December 30th, according to Coinbob Popular Address Monitor data, the "Ultimate Bear" whale opened a new LIT short position at around $3.03. The current position size is 31,000 LIT (approximately $87,000), with an average price of around $2.95 and a liquidation price of $4.75. The position has realized a slight floating profit. In addition, there is still a sell order for 10,000 LIT shorts (around $3.06) waiting to be filled.
At the same time, the address still holds a BTC short position of about $43.68 million, with a floating profit of $12.05 million (552%), an average price of $111,500, and a liquidation price of $102,400.
Since November, the address has executed similar profit-taking operations five times at local lows, and none of the shorts have been covered. Compared to its peak position of $136 million at the end of October, its BTC short position has now decreased by approximately $93 million. It has closed about $57 million within this month, previously being the largest on-chain BTC short.
