Bloomberg dẫn lời một báo cáo từ Jefferies LLC cho biết vụ tấn công mạng cuối tuần qua đã đánh cắp gần 300 triệu đô la từ một dự án tiền điện tử nhỏ, cùng với vụ rút vốn 10 tỷ đô la tại nền tảng cho vay phi tập trung lớn nhất, có thể làm giảm sự quan tâm của Phố Wall đối với công nghệ blockchain .
Andrew Moss, một nhà phân tích tại nhóm nghiên cứu tài sản kỹ thuật số của Jefferies, chỉ ra rằng các ngân hàng, công ty quản lý tài sản và các tổ chức thanh toán đã và đang phát triển các sản phẩm blockchain tương tự như các hệ thống công nghệ mà tin tặc Triều Tiên đã khai thác trong năm qua.
