Kraken kêu gọi Mỹ Quốc hội sẽ thúc đẩy chính sách miễn thuế đối với một khoản thuế tối thiểu dành cho tiền điện tử và cho phép thời điểm nộp thuế đối với phần thưởng staking.
Theo CoinDesk, Kraken cho biết họ đã nộp 56 triệu mẫu khai thuế giao dịch tiền điện tử cho IRS (Cơ quan Thuế vụ Hoa Kỳ) cho năm thuế 2025, trong đó khoảng 18,5 triệu mẫu có giá trị dưới 1 đô la, 74% dưới 50 đô la và chỉ có 8,5% vượt quá 600 đô la.
Kraken chỉ ra rằng việc thiếu quy định về mức miễn thuế tối thiểu đối với các khoản thanh toán bằng tiền điện tử, cũng như việc đánh thuế phần thưởng staking như thu nhập thông thường tại thời điểm nhận, đang tạo ra gánh nặng báo cáo lớn cho các nhà đầu tư. Kraken đang kêu gọi Hoa Kỳ Quốc hội sẽ thúc đẩy chính sách miễn thuế tối thiểu rộng rãi hơn, liên kết với lạm phát, và cho phép người nộp thuế lựa chọn bị đánh thuế đối với phần thưởng đặt cược vào thời điểm nhận hoặc bán.
