Cơ quan FCA của Vương quốc Anh đã tiến hành khám xét 8 địa điểm ở London nghi ngờ có hoạt động giao dịch tiền điện tử ngang hàng bất hợp pháp
Theo một báo cáo của Reuters, Cơ quan Quản lý Tài chính Vương quốc Anh (FCA) cho biết họ đã hợp tác với các cơ quan thuế và cảnh sát để khám xét tám địa điểm ở London nghi ngờ có hoạt động giao dịch tiền điện tử p2p-211">ngang hàng bất hợp pháp và đã phát hành thông báo dừng hoạt động đến từng địa điểm.
FCA cho biết rằng các bằng chứng thu được trong quá trình kiểm tra đã hỗ trợ nhiều cuộc điều tra hình sự đang diễn ra. Chiến dịch này được thực hiện theo các quy định về chống rửa tiền và chống tài trợ khủng bố, nhằm ngăn chặn các nhà giao dịch liên quan cung cấp các kênh cho tội phạm chuyển tiền, che giấu và sử dụng quỹ. Hiện tại, không có nhà giao dịch tiền điện tử ngang hàng nào được đăng ký với FCA ở Vương quốc Anh.
