ZachXBT đã đăng rằng họ không khuyến nghị người dùng sử dụng dịch vụ máy ATM Bitcoin của Bitcoin Depot và đã đặt câu hỏi về việc gần đây cho phép một nạn nhân lừa đảo cao tuổi ở Mỹ đổi 25.000 đô la tiền mặt lấy BTC qua máy ATM.
ZachXBT cho biết nạn nhân đã được báo giá 108.000 đô la cho mỗi BTC, trong khi giá thị trường lúc đó khoảng 75.000 đô la, và cuối cùng 25.000 đô la chỉ đổi được 0,232 BTC, với giá trị thực khoảng 17.500 đô la.
