Former Ethereum Foundation researcher Dankrad Feist proposed raising $1 billion to establish a new Ethereum advocacy organization
Según The Block, el ex investigador de la Ethereum Foundation, Dankrad Feist, publicó en la plataforma X una propuesta para crear una nueva organización alineada con la economía de Ethereum para "salvar" a Ethereum. Considera que la Ethereum Foundation actualmente posee menos del 0,1% de ETH, sin ingresos por staking o comisiones, por lo que la nueva organización necesita recaudar al menos 1.000 millones de dólares en fondos, gestionados por líderes competentes, con parte de los fondos provenientes de ingresos por staking y dirigida por una junta más responsable para impulsar el precio de Ethereum.
Feist dejó la fundación el año pasado para unirse a la red de Capa 1 Tempo. Fue co-creador del diseño de fragmentación Danksharding en la comunidad de Ethereum para mejorar la escalabilidad de Capa 2, fue nombrado asesor estratégico en áreas como escalabilidad de L1 y experiencia de usuario durante la reestructuración del liderazgo de la fundación, y propuso la EIP-9698, que aumentaría el límite de Gas en 100 veces.
