SEC Commissioner: Regulatory exemptions for tokenized stocks may only apply to on-chain equity products
La comisionada de la SEC de EE. UU., Hester Peirce, declaró que se espera que la "exención por innovación" de la SEC para acciones tokenizadas se aplique únicamente a productos de capital en cadena. Señaló que los tokens sintéticos que solo imitan el rendimiento del precio de las acciones pero no poseen derechos plenos de accionista, no cumplirían con los requisitos de exención regulatoria pertinentes.
