Futu Holdings: The CSRC intends to impose a total fine of approximately 1.85 billion yuan on the company and plans to fine the company's founder 1.25 million yuan personally
Futu Holdings (FUTU.O) anunció hoy que la empresa ha recibido un aviso de investigación y un preaviso de sanción administrativa por parte de la Comisión Reguladora de Valores de China (CSRC) y su sucursal en Shenzhen.
La CSRC señaló que ciertas entidades de Futu en China continental y Hong Kong han realizado actividades de valores, venta de fondos públicos y negocios de futuros en China continental sin obtener las licencias o aprobaciones necesarias, violando la Ley de Valores, la Ley de Fondos de Inversión en Valores y la Ley de Futuros y Derivados de la República Popular China. La CSRC tiene la intención de ordenar a las empresas pertinentes que rectifiquen o cesen dichas actividades, confiscar las ganancias ilegales e imponer multas, con una multa total propuesta de aproximadamente 1.85 mil millones de yuanes (alrededor de 271 millones de USD).
Además, la CSRC planea imponer una multa personal de 1.25 millones de yuanes (alrededor de 183,575 USD) al fundador y CEO de la empresa, el Sr. Li Hua. Futu Holdings declaró que las multas propuestas aún están sujetas a procedimientos adicionales y a la decisión final de la CSRC.
