Aave declaró oficialmente que puede haber dos tipos de deudas incobrables derivadas del incidente de robo de rsETH, dependiendo del manejo diferente de rsETH. Si las pérdidas robadas se deducen de todos los rsETH circulantes, se espera generar $123.7 millones en deudas incobrables, que se concentran en la red principal de Ethereum en términos absolutos, y es más grave en proporción en Mantle.
Si el valor del rsETH de la red principal está garantizado y todas las pérdidas se contabilizan en la versión mapeada de rsETH en la Capa 2, se espera generar 230,1 millones de dólares en deudas incobrables, todas las cuales estarán en la Capa 2. Mantle enfrentará un déficit del 71,45 % de WETH, y Arbitrum enfrentará un déficit del 26,67 %; la red principal de Ethereum no se verá afectada. Aave agregó que la situación que finalmente ocurra depende de decisiones que Aave no puede controlar, principalmente el método de contabilidad para rsETH y el método de actualización de la tasa de cambio del LRT Oracle.
