Kelp DAO: La razón del robo es que el nodo RPC de LayerZero fue comprometido

Kelp DAO declaró oficialmente en una publicación en X con respecto al incidente de robo que la causa del robo fue la complicación de dos nodos RPC alojados por LayerZero, mientras que un tercer nodo RPC sufrió un ataque DDoS. Este fue un ataque dirigido a la infraestructura de LayerZero, y el propio sistema de Kelp no estuvo involucrado en la construcción o operación de esa infraestructura.

La configuración DVN 1/1 es el esquema registrado en la documentación de LayerZero y es la configuración predeterminada para todas las nuevas implementaciones de OFT. Kelp ha estado operando en la infraestructura de LayerZero desde enero de 2024 y ha mantenido una comunicación abierta con el equipo de LayerZero. Durante la expansión de Kelp a Layer2, se discutió el problema de la configuración DVN y, en ese momento, se confirmó explícitamente que la configuración predeterminada era apropiada. La prioridad actual de Kelp es salvaguardar los intereses de los usuarios y prevenir que los riesgos se propaguen dentro del ecosistema DeFi. El equipo está colaborando con varias partes dentro del ecosistema para analizar el impacto, buscar apoyo y explorar todas las posibles soluciones de mitigación.
